Our first charity games afternoon went off with a bang! It's was great to see so many faces turn up to support the event, looks like it's going to be a popular one going forward.
Everyone had a great afternoon, playing various games around the room. There were a number of games on offer for the afternoon, from monopoly, frustration, family fortunes, jenga, poker, euchre and many more. Each table had a lead host providing the coaching if needed, thank you to the table coaches. A further thank you to everyone who supplied the games, because that was another operation in itself, we were really spoilt with choice.
We also had offering of hot and cold drinks, with plenty of Haribo supplies to boot our energies. Another thank you to Tash for ordering the pizzas, it was an unexpected surprise but a very welcome one that went down a treat.
Lastly I just wanted to add a BIG thank you to all of the helping hands who volunteered their Saturday afternoon, it was very much appreciated and made the afternoon go like clockwork.
Keeps an eye out for some more dates for Halloween in October, followed by a movie afternoon in November.
